Jelly sandals, yellow smiley faces, and a whole lot of Tupac on cassettes and CDs — sound familiar?
Last week marked the opening of Moroccan-Belgian photographer @mouslamrabat’s latest exhibition with @wepresent, titled “Moustalgia.” Mous, feeling nostalgic as ever, collected all sorts of ‘90s memorabilia which influenced him whilst growing up, and recontextualised them through his modern lens. Ahead of the exhibition’s travel to the Faces Gallery in Marseille, Wonderland caught up with the artist to chat finding comfort in nostalgia and his long-time adoration of rap and hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur.
