As Belgian Moroccan photographer @mouslamrabat shaped his latest show, Moustalgia, he found himself reflecting on a time that felt lighter and the future didn’t feel so heavy.
“The last couple of years I often felt hopeless,” Lamrabat says. “I realised that these kinds of images were the perfect coping mechanisms to feel optimistic again. Hope is what drives us to do and be better, so I aim to apply that. Because of what’s going on in the world, all my personal work orbits around the subject of hope.”
