Sara Ouhaddou (@ouhaddou_sara ) takes part in Ciels, terres, mers, feux : un atlas de métamorphoses, a two-person exhibition with Younès Rahmoun at the Centre d’art contemporain de Châteauvert, curated by Véronique Collard-Bovy.
Bringing together works by the two artists, this exhibition considers the Mediterranean as a living territory shaped by movement, transmission and encounter, where histories, materials, beliefs and gestures are continuously transformed.
Ciels, terres, mers, feux explores the passages between traditional craftsmanship, spirituality and contemporary artistic practice. Glass, as a material of breath and light, forms a guiding thread throughout the exhibition. In Sara Ouhaddou’s practice, this research extends her long-term collaborations with Moroccan artisans, reinterpreting forms of Islamic glass, particularly lamps, through an archaeological and contemporary lens.
Ciels, terres, mers, feux is presented as part of Saison Méditerranée 2026, on view from 11 July to 29 November 2026 at the Centre d’art contemporain de Châteauvert, France.
